(Che’lu) Large pit-fired decorative pot

$45.00
Sold Out

Hand-built decorative vase put fired in my yard with friends. The pot has a large crack on the bottom making it not suitable to hold liquid, but looks great in the shelf. Iron oxide decoration on the mouth of the pot is inspired by “ancient” Chamorro pottery decoration.

  • Cone 10 Armstone from Armadillo Clay bisqued then pit fired on a really cold day in Austin

  • Coloring from baking soda, copper wire, Brillo pads, iron oxide, plant fertilizer, and stuff from my pantry.

  • Coil built
